The assault caused the partial shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - which police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
